L.A. Trade Tech Bumper Sticker

Sitting just south of Downtown LA proper, Los Angeles Trade Tech is home to the last remaining sign painting trade school in the nation. Lead by journeymen sign painters Ralph "Doc" Guthrie and Carlos Aguilar, this 2 year program has graduated generations of the best sign painters in Southern California.

After languishing in the 1990s and 2000s, the class has bounced back in recent years thanks in large part to Faythe Levine & Sam Macon’s Sign Painter movie. But though class sizes have grown, class materials budgets haven’t kept up.

The Sign Graphics program at Trade Tech is near and dear to RADCO’s hearts. It’s the reason Neil moved to LA in the first place, and we’ve had the pleasure of working with a number of Trade Tech grads on our projects.

With all of that in mind, We grabbed a handful of inspiration from some archival school spirit swag, and re-created a classic “collegiate” window sticker.
